I am excited to bring my diverse background and experiences to this role as your principal. My time as a paramedic taught me the importance of helping others in their time of need, but it also made me realize the limitations of providing short-term assistance. Education, on the other hand, allows me to have a lasting impact on individuals and their futures.

Over the past fourteen years, I have been teaching science at Waukee Community School District. This experience has allowed me to develop strong leadership skills and gain a deep understanding of the educational system. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership through Drake University to further enhance my knowledge and expertise.
