Academic Team Competes at SEW

LHS Academic TeamOn Monday, the thirteenth of February, Lamoni High School’s Academic Team traveled to Southeast Warren for an epic intellectual showdown. A total of twenty-five teams participated in this event, and Lamoni was able to lock down ninth place overall.
Lamoni’s best and brightest were subjected to a myriad of questions from subjects such as theater, applied science, world geography, and mythology. A total of fifteen different sets of questions were tackled by team members Paul Eason, Heiatua Paredes, Owen Jackel, Hunter Springer, and Ben Poulton during the event.
It was a long day for our Lamoni Demon Academic Team, but they were able to end that day with their heads held high. Well done, Academic Team!
