MS Art on Display
Last week Mrs. Patience and her dutiful son Mark put the middle school's first quarter art on display in the main hallway of the middle school. Last quarter the eighth grade worked on cut paper/tempera paint silhouettes, graphite and colored pencil grisaille drawings, ink and watercolor marker jigsaw designs, and decorative masks. The seventh grade worked on graphite and colored pencil grisaille drawings, ink animal drawings, slice of life ink and watercolor marker circular designs, and acrylic and watercolor still life paintings. Sixth grade created animal zentagle ink and watercolor marker drawings, paper collage still lifes, graphite pencil drawings, and ink drawings. Their work looks fantastic. Thanks to the students for creating beautiful works of art, Mrs. Patience for teaching such interesting content, and Mark for taking time out of his schedule to hang the artwork. We can't wait to see what you guys will do this quarter. Whatever it is, we're sure it will be fantastic.
