Lamoni Community Schools would like to announce the release of our new app in the Google Play and iTunes stores. With the world becoming ever more connected, LCSD felt it vital to our growth and development as a district to become more accessible, with a goal to provide the community, parents, students, and staff with as much information as possible. This was shown with the revamping to our website three years ago. With this in mind, the logical next step was to be able to provide an app with some of the key features of our website. 

What Does the App Provide?
The LCSD app provides access to key components from our website. This includes: featured articles, notifications, calendar, JMC, breakfast and lunch menu, announcements, Twitter, our new Google email, and a list of staff contact information. Additionally, the app allows us to send out push notifications. These can be extremely helpful, especially during the event of a 2-hour delay, cancellation, or other similar circumstance.
