Lamoni students performed in the district large group speech contest on January 20, 2024, at Clarke High School in Osceola, Iowa. Reader's Theater, Improv, and Radio Broadcasting all received division II ratings. A division II rating is an impressive score, but unfortunately, not high enough to continue on to the state contest. 

For the most part, this wraps up large group speech for the year, but there is a Speech Showcase on February 5th at 7 PM in the Safe Room of the school. Please come out to support the speech team and see some fantastic performances. Individual speech competitions will start soon after that.
