Middle School Presents to the School Board
On November 8th, students of Lamoni Middle School presented information on School of the Wild and Outdoor Day to the Lamoni School Board. The students did a fantastic job in volunteering, preparing, and presenting the information. The students who undertook the task were Darsey Dredge, Raiden Tucker, Leah Blackwood, Quenton Kerns, Logan Blackwood, Addi Bengtson, and Nora Potter.
Last week, Mr. Silver asked for volunteers to present to the School Board. The previously mentioned students stepped up to the challenge. They created a presentation using Google Slides, populated it with relevant information and photos, and rehearsed until they had it down pat.
On the night of the meeting, they knocked it out of the park. They did a fantastic job presenting the information and answering all of the School Board's questions. Logan Blackwood even made a video chronicling School of the Wild and Outdoor Day. The students showed great intestinal fortitude in presenting for a bunch of adults who they did not know. As one member put it, he, as an adult, would have a hard time getting up and speaking in front of the School Board.
Thank you to the students for volunteering their time and efforts to show the School Board and community the great things they are doing. Way to show great Demon PRIDE!
