Demon's Recognized for Excellence
Launch the media gallery 1 playerEarlier in the month, Lamoni Middle and High Schools held an assembly to refresh students and staff on what Demon PRIDE stands for. Ambrose Savage, Nick Keddie, and the principal, Mrs. Fairbanks, gave a presentation to reinforce behavior expectations and standards. They did an excellent job of reminding students and staff.
After the presentation on Demon PRIDE, several secondary students were recognized for earning the Demon PRIDE Student Award. This honor is bestowed once per quarter. Awardees are nominated by teachers and have to display excellence in behavior and/or selfless service. The students who received the award for second quarter were Quenton Kerns, Karis Brown, Morgan Giles, Leah Blackwood, Ben Poulton, and Haelyn Olson. They were given a certificate with the citation their nominating teacher wrote on it and a magnet for their locker that shows they were a recipient of the award. Great job Demons and keep showing great Demon PRIDE!
