Boys Take 2nd at Conference Meet
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMuch like the ladies' track team, the high school boys took second place at the conference track meet. Individual champions on the night were: Ambrose Savage in the Discus, with a new school record of 153ft-09 inches (back to back champion in Discus from a year ago), Shot Put with a personal best throw of 44ft-09 inches, and he also won the 400 Meter Dash in 53.96 seconds. Landon Lindgren won the 110 Meter High Hurdle event with a time of 17.17 (Landon was the repeat champion in the highs from last year as well). Combined with the outstanding performance of the two previously mentioned athletes, the team, as a whole, did fantastic. From long distance to long jump, the Demons left their mark on every event they participated in and have worked incredibly hard this year to improve their abilities.
